Basic Phlebotomy
Consists of 64 hours of lecture encompassing: health care systems, infection control and safety, anatomy and physiology, specimen collection, blood collection equipment and supplies/procedures, specimen processing, quality assurance and communication skills.

Phlebotomy Lab
This consists of 16 hours of hands on instruction in phlebotomy techniques which includes handwashing, quality control, venipuncture/skin puncture techniques, blood smear/blood culture preparation, glucose tolerance tests, and specimen processing.


Phlebotomy Clinical
This provides 16 hours of clinical training and practical instruction within the clinical setting at the onsite facility. You will need to have 30 live person venipuncture and 10 capillary live person finger sticks to sit for certification exam.

Anatomy & Physiology
This involves learning organization of the human body, chemistry, cell and their functions, tissues, diseases, integumentary/skeletal/muscular system, spinal cord and nerves/brain and cranial nerves, sensory/endocrine system, cardio/lymphatic system.

Medical Terminology
Students will learn about body structures, disease and treatment, and body systems.
